    Description

The County of Orange, by and through its Tourism Office is seeking proposals from qualified offerors with demonstrated experience in the tourism and destination marketing industry to re-design, develop, host and support a modern, user-centered tourism website that serves as a primary trip-planning resource for visitors and supports long-term destination marketing objectives to promote tourism in Orange County. OCT is currently an office of five (5) staff members whose mission, among other things, is to promote the County as a tourism destination with the goal to attract overnight visitors to Orange County. All of OCT’s marketing initiatives, including digital advertising, streaming services, podcasts and social media advertising, drive visits to the website. Orange County has a robust craft beverage scene, a strong family friendly sector as the County is home to Legoland New York Resort, and agrotourism that flourishes during the Fall months. Our main target market is the New York Metro Designated Market Area. This redesign is needed to refresh the existing website and make it more user friendly, ADA accessible and aesthetically pleasing to navigate. The goals for the redesign are to have people stay on our website longer, increase Conversion Rate Optimization (“CRO”) through increased use of our booking widget or subscribing to our email list and provide better Search Engine Optimization (“SEO”) and Large Language Model Search Engine Optimization (“LLM SEO”). It is anticipated that the general website map and information architecture will remain the same unless otherwise recommended by the offeror(s) and approved by OCT. **Solicitation Type**: RFP - Request for Proposal (Formal) **Source ID**: PU.AG.USA.1076.C8981201 **Piggyback Contract**: No **Question Acceptance Deadline**: 04/21/2026 03:00 PM EDT **Questions are submitted online**: No **Bid Submission Type**: Physical Bid Submission **Owner Organization**: County of Orange **Solicitation Number**: RFP-TOUR01-26 **Reference Number**: 0000420480
