    The Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) is seeking quotes for a new grit washer. A system is needed to do the separation and removal of sand and grit from our wastewater treatments plants. The system will be fully operational in both manual and automatic modes. The following specifications are required for this RFQ. Please submit your spec sheet along with the completed RFQ. Grit Washer: Influent: Municipal Waste Application Peak Flow: 152,640 GPD Inlet Flange: 6” Outlet Flange: 8” Screw Incline 25° Screw Type: Shaftless Screw Diameter: 9” Screw Length: 13’ 2” Trough Diameter: 9.5” Trough Type: U trough Inspection Covers: Bolted to Trough Liner: 1/3” stainless steel liner bars Shaft, Paddles, Body: Stainless Steel 304L Drive: ½ hp, 460v, 3 phase 60 Hz C1D2 Control Panel: Control panel will operate the grit classifier, auger, and all ancillary equipment. Control panel will be a stainless-steel enclosure, and will contain all electrical controls, wires, starters, terminals, relays, overloads, fuses and labels required for operation of the grit classifier and ancillary equipment. The system will be fully operational in both manual and automatic modes. 1. Provide complete panel assembly, wiring, and testing services. 2. Stainless Steel Enclosure 3. Inner Swing Panel for HMI, Pilots, and Disconnect 4. Non-Fused disconnect switch with thru the door handle 5. Motor Starters with fusing and overloads 6. Control transformer with fusing 7. 1 lot terminal blocks and related accessories 8. Electronic Over Current Relays 9. Elapsed time meter 10. Lot, control relays, terminal blocks and related accessories 11. C1D2 local E-Stop switch 12. UL 508 rated enclosure suitable for wall mounting 13. Dry contact outputs for Run, General Fault, Over Current E-Stop: A push button E-stop will be provided for installation adjacent to the grit system. E-Stop will be Class 1, Div 2. Start-Up Services and Training Full documented QC with photos provided to customers Detailed video specific to this application showing equipment and controls functions and operation Full startup and training on site for 1-2 days Warranty 12 months or 18 months from delivery, whichever comes first.
