    REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP No. PW- B90025-02D The Nassau County Department of Public Works intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Architectural/Engineering (A/E) services in connection with the following: Rehabilitation of Aquatic Center Building-Design The Nassau County Department of Public Works is requesting proposals from firms to provide Professional Architectural/Engineering (A/E) Services for Nassau County Department of Public Work’s Building Department for the Rehabilitation of the Aquatic Center Building located in Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, NY 11554. The firms selected to provide these services will be awarded a four (4) year Agreement with the County. Sealed Proposals regarding this project are due on or before 3:00 P.M. on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the location specified within the RFP. No late proposals will be accepted. Please note that this is not the Request for Proposals. An actual copy of the RFP and related Addenda may be obtained here: https://apex5.nassaucountyny.gov/ords/f?p=533:226. The Nassau County Bid Solicitation Boards are open to all registered vendors. Vendors that have not registered are able to view open solicitation opportunities, but they are not able to download solicitation documents or submit bids or proposals. The selected firm will be required to provide proof of general and professional liability insurance in the minimum amounts of $2,000,000 in the aggregate and $1,000,000 per occurrence, respectively. The proposer shall be required to comply with a good faith effort minimum of 15% MWBE goal and good faith effort minimum of 2% SDVOB goal for this project and with the requirements of Local Laws No. 14-2002, “Participation by Minority Group Members and Women in Nassau County Contracts,” and 2-2016, “Participation of Service-Disabled Veterans in County Contracts.” All Proposers should review the provisions of Appendix EE (included as an attachment to the RFP) which outlines the requirements of Local law No. 14-2002. Technical proposals shall include information regarding the Proposers plan to comply with Local Law No. 14-2002 and Local Law 2-2016. MWBE UTILIZATION PLAN – In accordance with Title 53, Nassau County Local Law No. 14-2002, all Vendors shall submit a MWBE Utilization Plan with their Proposal.
