This is the fifth solicitation issued to expand the pool, particularly for plumbers. Once selected by a homeowner, a contractor will enter into a Rehabilitation Agreement directly with the homeowner to complete the approved work.
These programs include, but are not limited to, the Affordable Single-Family Homeownership Program, the Affordable Single-Family Residential Facade Improvement Program, and other similar programs established by the City (collectively, the “Program”).

Scoring will be based on the clarity and feasibility of the project plan, schedule, key activities, deliverables, and the proposed coordination process with the City’s Project Manager.
This section evaluates the Proposer’s status as an SBE, MBE, WBE, or combination, and the firm’s demonstrated commitment to outreach, inclusion, and utilization of small and minority-owned businesses in performance of the contract. Scoring will be based on documented outreach efforts, planned mentoring and capacity-building initiatives, and processes for inclusive subcontracting.

A: No on most cases. Sometimes we have to address asbestos siding or roofing materials but that is few and far between. We have the contractor bid on hiring asbestos contractor to use safe work practices.
