    The State University of New York at Buffalo will receive sealed bids for project number 2025-088 titled Renovate Labs Furnas 913, 914 Disciplinary Excellence until 1:00pm local time on January 19th, 2026. All bid packages MUST be submitted via email to: UB-Compliance@buffalo.edu Email shall include Project # 2025-088 and Renovate Labs Furnas 913, 914 Disciplinary Excellence and “Contractor name” in Subject line. NO BIDS SHOULD BE HAND DELIVERED OR DELIVERED THROUGH ANY DELIVERY SERVICE OR COMMON CARRIER. ONLY ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. The University assumes no responsibility for any Proposal that is not delivered into its aforesaid email address by 1:00 PM local time. All work on this Contract is to be completed by March 30th, 2027, starting on or after the University’s Notice to Proceed is received which shall be forwarded to the Contractor(s) upon approval of the contract of the New York State Comptroller. Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at the campus and at the following locations. Facilities Design & Construction /University at Buffalo, 119 John Beane Center, Buffalo, New York 14260 (by appointment only – please call 716-645-2612) Construction Exchange of Buffalo & WNY, Inc., 2660 William Street, Cheektowaga, New York 14227 Complete sets of Contract Documents for bidding will be available on or about December 10th, 2025. The Contract documents may be viewed and ordered through the following website: www.avalonplanroom.com in the Public Bid section. If you do not have internet access or have questions on ordering from this site, please contact Avalon Document Services at (716)995-7777. Drawings can be picked up at Avalon Document Services located at 40 La Riviere Drive, Buffalo, New York 14202 after that move date. Payment can be submitted by credit card or by a check made payable to: Avalon Document Services A walk-through site inspection will be held on __1/07/26_at __10:00am_. All interested parties should assemble at _208 Davis Hall Conference Room_ for a brief presentation prior to heading over to Furnas 9th floor. Failure to participate in the walk-through inspection will not be grounds for extra compensation due to field conditions encountered on this project. All Request for Information (RFI’s) must be sent by January 9th, 2026. Security will be required to each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. It is the policy of the State of New York and the State University of New York to encourage minority business enterprise participation in this project by contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, and all bidders are expected to cooperate in implementing this policy. The State University of New York reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
