Background

The Mary Alley Municipal Building located at 7 Widger Road in Marblehead, MA, was originally established in 1922 as the town's first hospital, funded by school teacher and philanthropist Mary Alley. The facility served as a hospital until the mid-1960s before transitioning into a municipal building. 

The building now serves as a municipal building, hosting town offices.
