The State of Florida incorporates the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) excavation safety standards, 29 C.F.R. 1926.650 Subpart P, as its standard (Sections 553.60-64, F.S.). The Contractor/Respondent shall list separately in their Proposal the cost of compliance with these standards on a lineal footage basis and the method of compliance. The bidder shall determine if special shoring requirements are needed. Special shoring shall be identified and priced on a square footage basis in the Proposal.
