    The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Replace Windows – Hawkins Hall project at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. The Project replaces all the exterior windows in Hawkins Hall. Hawkins Hall, constructed in 1929, is a 132,000 GSF, two story building. The windows in Hawkins Hall have reached the end of their useful life and no longer provide adequate thermal performance or air-tightness, resulting in energy inefficiency and increased maintenance needs. The Project replaces all the exterior windows in Hawkins Hall. The Project installs new energy-efficient windows within existing masonry openings to improve thermal performance while preserving the building’s historic character. The work includes repair of surrounding trim and finishes and abatement of hazardous materials encountered during removal. The construction value is estimated to be approximately $7,154,000. Consultants are required to register for this opportunity on the Fund’s website at: https://sucf.suny.edu/design-consulting-services/procurements-advertised Once registered, consultants will receive an email with the applicable Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and the link to upload your Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) at the submission deadline. Once your registration is submitted, you will receive a confirmation number and the RFQ via email.
