    Background

    The City of Carmel, Indiana is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather information from qualified firms that provide employee benefits brokerage and consulting services in support of the City’s Health and Welfare Plans.

    This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a Request for Quotations (RFQs). This RFI does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment by the City to award a contract.

    The purpose of this RFI is to better understand the marketplace, best in-class pharmacy oversight, available service models, industry best practices, compensation approaches, and the capabilities of firms serving self-insured employers, including government entities. Information received through this RFI may be used to assist the City in future procurement options.
