    Description

1.2 Project Overview Columbus Water and Power (CWP), Division of Water Reclamation (DWR) has identified a need for a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the Southerly Water Reclamation Plant (SWRP) Switching Station Replacement Project. Three (3) of the five (5) switching stations at the SWRP are past their useful life and require replacement. This project will replace this 15kV switchgear while also modifying the power distribution system within the plant. In addition, the Division of Power (DOP) substation that feeds the plant needs to be replaced and relocated within the SWRP in order to remove it from the floodplain. Currently, all power is fed through SWRP around a plant wide loop system. This system feeds into each substation through a main-tie-main configuration. This project will incorporate a new master switching station and implement a radial feed system to better incorporate the new cogeneration facility and improve the electrical system reliability. Refer to Appendix A for a detailed project overview. This Request for Pricing (RFP) is to receive pricing proposals from the short listed offerors from the Invitation for Proposal (IFP) phase. The City will only select a CMAR from the shortlisted offerors and intends to award the construction management contract in accordance with 329.23(B). All info at BidExpress.com
