Questions must be submitted via e-mail to soq.questions@chandleraz.gov for consideration. Also, you must follow SOQ submittal instructions in the RFQ Document. DO NOT submit SOQ’s through the APP portal. Project Description: The City intends to replace the Tumbleweed Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) Well 8 within 100 feet of its current location. The well had been previously utilized to recharge water from the Airport Water Reclamation Facility (AWRF), located at 905 E. Queen Creek Road, and to recover water for the reclaimed water distribution system. The well has recently been taken out of service due to excessive sand pumping, rendering it unusable. This project is for the equipping design of the replacement well, and other necessary improvements. This project is anticipated to begin design in Spring 2026. The construction budget is anticipated to be $5M to $7M. Scope of Work: Professional Services for this project will include, but are not limited to, design for well piping, pumps, electrical service, preliminary and detailed design, cost estimating, and other services for required improvements. Professional Services will include all permitting with State, County, and local jurisdictions. Construction Management services may also be included. The scope of work to include detailed design, permitting assistance and construction management (if warranted).
