    Description

    assist with the acquisition and relocation to an office location to serve as the new agency’s headquarters (Office). HACSC is actively searching to acquire commercial property to serve as the agency’s new Office. HACSC intends to purchase and own the office building which includes the land. HACSC does not plan to enter into a long-term lease agreement through this process. HACSC currently operates from three adjacent commercial properties, located at 2140, 2160, and 2170 41st Avenue, Capitola, CA. The combined office space is approximately 16,600 square feet. HACSC owns the 2160 office building and has lease agreements for the 2140 and 2170 office spaces. These lease agreements have options to renew but may be terminated with proper notice. HACSC serves a wide range of stakeholders which includes program participants, tenants residing in HACSC owned or controlled properties, landlords, elected officials, government agencies, private industry, community partners, and the general public. HACSC new Office must provide a welcoming space for stakeholders which includes a publicly accessible lobby, adjacent private interview rooms for meeting with clients, and semi-public / flexible meeting space that can accommodate large meetings for all-staff meetings, Board of Commissioner meetings, and other community meetings and events.
