    Description

    The City of Stockbridge, Georgia ("City") is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced landscape maintenance contractors to provide comprehensive landscape and grounds maintenance services for City-owned facilities and properties identified in this Request for Proposals (RFP).The selected Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, insurance, permits, licenses, incidentals, and all other resources necessary to perform and complete the required services in a professional, safe, and efficient manner.The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the routine maintenance and care of landscaped areas, turf, ground cover, trees, shrubs, irrigation systems, and related site features located at the facilities listed in this RFP. Services shall encompass general groundskeeping, horticultural maintenance, irrigation system inspection and maintenance, debris removal, and landscape area cleanup. The Contractor shall also perform repairs necessitated by vandalism, damage to irrigation systems, and replacement of plant materials when required.Services to be provided include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Turf and Ground Cover Maintenance Mowing, edging, trimming, and maintaining all turf and ground cover areas in a healthy and attractive condition. 2. Litter and Debris Removal Removal and proper disposal of litter, trash, leaves, and other debris from turf areas, planter beds, fence lines, sidewalks, parking areas, street curbs, and other designated locations. 3. Tree and Shrub Maintenance Pruning, trimming, shaping, and maintaining trees, shrubs, hedges, and ornamental plantings to promote healthy growth, safety, and aesthetic appearance. 4. Weed, Pest, and Disease Control Application of herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, and other approved chemical agents, as necessary, to control weeds, insects, pests, and plant diseases. All applications shall comply with applicable federal,state, and local regulations and industry best practices. 5. Irrigation System Inspection and Maintenance Monthly inspection, testing, adjustment, and maintenance of all irrigation systems by a licensed irrigator. The Contractor shall provide evidence of current licensure and shall promptly identify and repair system deficiencies to ensure proper operation and water conservation. 6. Plant Material Replacement Replacement of dead, damaged, diseased, or missing plant materials with comparable species and sizes as approved by the City. 7. Additional Services Performance of other landscape and grounds maintenance services as specified in this RFP or as reasonably required to maintain City properties in a safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing condition. The Contractor shall perform all services in accordance with the requirements, specifications, standards, and conditions contained in or referenced by this RFP. The Contractor is solely responsible forinvestigating existing site conditions and all factors that may affect the cost, scheduling, or performance of the work prior to submitting a proposal.The City's objective is to maintain all designated properties at a Class A appearance standard, as determined solely by the City of Stockbridge. The Contractor shall consistently maintain all landscapes and grounds to this standard throughout the contract term. Any questions, discrepancies, or differences in interpretation regarding the required level of maintenance or appearance standards shall be resolved at the sole discretion of the City of Stockbridge, Georgia, whose determination shall be final.
