The City of Oroville (City) wishes to obtain the services of experienced CA Class B contractors to perform construction services related to housing rehabilitation work (rehab) funded by the City's Housing Rehab Program. Rehab will be performed prmarily on, but is not limited to, owner-occupied detached single family dwellings. the program is currently in progress with bid opportunities occurring soon. Firms interested in participating in this program and being included on a 'prequalified' contractor bid list need to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ). Please read through the information provided below, and submit your SOQ as directed. Respondents to this RFQ will be vetted for placement on the bid list. When submitted for rehab projects, contractor bids will be based on, but are not limited to, licensing, experience, staffing, insurance, capability, availability, customer service, and compatibility. Wil be placed on a contractor bid list, and receive invitations to bid rehab projects as they become available. 2. Will receive a project scope of work, specifications, bid documents, and AHJ approved construction plans (when/if applicable) for each project. 3. Must participate in onsite bid walks in order to bid projects. 4. Will organize and coordinate all rehab construction work, installations, and subcontractors, in conjunction with project and contract management and oversight by CPM. 5. Will execute construction contracts with property owners. 6. Must be capable of compliance with Federal and/or State prevailing wage (PW) criteria/requirements, when and if applicable. How to Participate: 1. Submit SOQ as soon as possible, as this RFQ will remain open and active until retracted. 2. All SOQs must be signed, dated and submitted in PDF format via email to steve@fawcettenterprises.com. 3. Contractos SOQ must include, but is not limited to, the following information: a. Firm's business name and office and mailing addresses. b. Firm's email address(es) and office and cell phone number(s) for primary contact person(s). c. Firm's company profile. d. Names and titles of firm's principal and primary contact person(s). e. Firm's staff size and titles/positions. f. Statement that firm is a minority and/or women business enterprise, if applicable. g. Type of construction that firm most commonly engages and specializes in, and has experience with (e.g. residential, commercial, industrial, renovations, new construction, etc.) h. CA contractor license number(s), classification(s), and expiration date(s). i. Federal and/or State certifiations in addition to 'h' above (if applicable). j. Unique Entity ID (sam.gov) and DIR number. k. Statment of experience with and staffing for PW labor compliance (if any). l. Evidence of current general liability insurance coverage (min $1,000,000 required). m. Evidence of current Worker's Compensation insurance coverage as required by law (as/if applicable). n. References and related contacts for construction projects completed within the past 2 years.
