    Description

The Waste Tire Manifest System (WTMS) is a tracking mechanism used by CalRecycle to monitor the generation, transportation, and ultimate disposal of used/waste tires in California. The goal of the system is to help eliminate illegal storage or disposal of used/waste tires by allowing CalRecycle to focus enforcement efforts on the worst offenders. Information from each Comprehensive Trip Log (CTL) is key data entered and scanned as an image document into the WTMS. CalRecycle will use the information generated by the comprehensive trip log to ensure that all waste or used tires generated and transported within California have been accounted for and delivered to permitted end-use facilities. Discrepancies will be actively enforced. CalRecycle requires the production of Waste Tire Manifest CTL forms printed on triplicate paper according to the specifications listed in this RFQ. These forms fulfill the requirements of Chapter 838, Statutes of 2000 (SB 876, Escutia).
