    Description

    Metropolitan is seeking to prequalify contractors for emergency work (Prequalified Contractors) in various categories to provide personnel, materials, and equipment. The Prequalified Contractor(s) shall perform as-needed, emergency work at various Metropolitan facilities. The Prequalified Contractor(s) may be required to replace existing equipment with new or used equipment that is furnished by Metropolitan or by the Prequalified Contractor themselves. Emergency repair services will be performed for sensitive, high risk, and/or time-restricted projects. In many instances these projects may occur during planned or unplanned facility shutdowns of short durations. As such, Prequalified Contractors shall have the capacity to work around the clock in an expeditious manner until the work is completed and the facility is returned to service.The categories requiring the prequalification are as follows:1.
