    Description

The purpose of this Request for Statements of Qualifications (“RFQ”) is to identify and prequalify qualified organizations, institutions, and individual teaching artists to provide Visual and Performing Arts (“VAPA”) programming for Twin Rivers Unified School District TK–12 students. Programming may occur before, during, or after the school day and may include instruction in dance, music, theatre, visual arts, and media arts.

Programming provided through this RFQ is expected to align with the California Arts Standards for Public Schools and may incorporate the National Core Arts Standards. Programs may include workshops, artist residencies, assemblies, performances, and multi-week or semester-based arts instruction.

This RFQ process is intended to establish a pool of qualified VAPA providers. Submission of SOQ does not guarantee a contract award. Providers determined to be qualified may be recommended to the Board of Education for approval as part of an approved pool of VAPA service providers. Schools and District departments may later select providers from the approved pool based on program needs and available funding, including Proposition 28: Arts & Music in Schools (“AMS”) funding sources.
