    Description

    Sealed, separate Bids for the construction of the Restroom Renovations Project will be received by Onondaga County Water Authority (OCWA), Physical Address: 200 Northern Concourse, Syracuse, New York, 13212 (Mailing Address: P.O. Box 4949, Syracuse, New York, 13221-4949) until 2:00 P.M. local time on March 19, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be opened and read during a live virtual meeting. Details of the live virtual meeting are within the Bidding documents. Bids received after the specified time will not be considered. The Project consists of renovations to the Women’s shower, locker and restroom room area including demolition of existing walls, floors, ceilings, shower plumbing fixtures, and drain with temporary of dust/debris to adjacent occupied spaces, asbestos abatement; and construction of new walls, floors, ceilings, lighting, plumbing fixtures, drainage, ventilation, exhaust fan, lockers/accessories and appurtenances, as described in the Contract Documents. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Onondaga County Water Authority, 200 Northern Concourse, Syracuse, New York, 13221. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Due to the pandemic, OCWA offices may be closed. Check the current status on their website before visiting. Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., by providing contact information to lcarter@bartonandloguidice.com. Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office’s website as “zipped” portable document format (PDF) files. The date that the Bidding Documents are downloaded will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. The following plan room services have received sets of Bidding Documents for the Work contemplated herein: - Syracuse Builders Exchange, 6563 Ridings Road, Syracuse, NY 13206 - Dodge Plan Room - New York State Contract Reporter Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents. General Municipal Law 5A-103-b. This Project is a “Covered Project” under New York State Labor law. Purchases made by OCWA are not subject to any Federal, State or local sales tax. Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials. Exemption certificates will be executed upon request.
