The scope of work will convert the existing court into three (3) regulation pickleball courts. 2. SCOPE OF WORK The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the following: Surface Preparation – Clean the court surface; inspect and repair all cracks, spalls, and surface irregularities with appropriate patching material. Resurfacing – Apply a minimum of two (2) coats of acrylic sport court resurfacing material over the entire court area. Color Coating – Apply color coat(s) as directed by the City using materials formulated for outdoor sport court use. Pickleball Court Layout & Striping – Layout and stripe three (3) regulation pickleball courts per USA Pickleball dimensions (20’ x 44’). Include all required markings (baselines, sidelines, non-volley zone lines, and centerlines) with 2” painted lines in a contrasting color. Net Post Anchors/Sleeves – Provide installation of net post anchors/sleeves for each court as a separate optional line item if not already present. Site Cleanup – Remove all debris and materials and restore any disturbed adjacent areas upon completion. 3. PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS Proposals shall be submitted in writing and must include: Cover Letter – Signed by an authorized representative confirming the firm’s interest and ability to perform the work. Qualifications – Brief company overview and a list of at least three (3) comparable sport court resurfacing/conversion projects completed within the past five (5) years (project name, owner contact, scope, year). Project Approach – Description of proposed methods and materials, including product data sheets. Project Schedule – Proposed timeline from mobilization to completion. Itemized Cost Proposal – Lump-sum price broken out by work category, with net post anchor installation as a separate optional line item. References – Contact information for at least three (3) references from comparable projects. Proof of Insurance – Confirmation the firm can provide general liability insurance (minimum $1,000,000 per occurrence) and workers’ compensation coverage as required by Tennessee law. 4. All costs of proposal preparation are the sole responsibility of the proposer. The selected contractor shall obtain all required permits and comply with all applicable regulations. The City is exempt from Tennessee State sales tax. Payment will be made upon satisfactory completion and City acceptance of all work.
