Garrett County Health Department (GCHD) seeks proposals from qualified contractors to support rural Local Health Departments (LHDs) and Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) in improving administrative efficiency, revenue capture, and long-term financial sustainability. LHDs and AAAs utilize different electronic health record and billing management systems. The selected contractor will support the following objectives across 18 wholly state-designated rural jurisdictions in the state LHDs and AAAs who may choose to participate: Increase efficiency and effectiveness of billing and reimbursement processes for rural LHDs and AAAs Improve revenue capture from Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurers for currently covered services Enhance organizational readiness for value-based care and quality reporting Promote long-term financial sustainability of rural public health and aging services Procedures and solutions must be applicable across various systems such as Maryland Long Term Services and Support System (LTSSMaryland), Pat Trac, etc.
