RFB No. 2026-047 - Roof Inspection Services

The Town of Palm Beach, Florida ("The Town") is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide roof inspection services for various facilities. The selected vendor shall not provide any roof repair services under this contract; this contract is for consulting and scope writing service only. These services will be required on an as-needed basis.It is the intent of The Town of Palm Beach to establish a single Contract with a qualified roofing consultant for Roof-inspection and Scope-writing Services, on an as-needed basis. The Town has multiple facilities with roofing systems of various types including but not limited to asphalt, modified bitumen, metal, barrel and concrete flat tile. Date/Time are specified in the "Events" section. Attendance is strongly encouraged as this will be the only forum to seek clarification directly from Contract Coordinator and Town staff.This project does not require Site VisitsAWARD: Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Request for Bid. The Town reserves the right to award to that bidder who will best serve the interests of the Town, and to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to award or not award a contract based on this bid proposal. Prices quoted must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the close of the bid.TERM: The contract will begin at the start of the Town's 2027 fiscal year, beginning October 1, 2026. The first year of the contract shall terminate in concurrence with the end of the Town’s 2027 fiscal year, ending on September 30, 2027. There shall be four (4) optional one-year renewal periods, based on satisfactory performance, budget authorization and mutual agreement, for a maximum contract duration of five (5) years.RESPONSIBLE VENDOR DETERMINATION: Respondent is hereby notified that Section 287.05701, Florida Statutes, requires that the Town of Palm Beach may not request documentation of or consider a vendor’s social, political, or ideological interest when determining if the vendor is a responsible vendor.QUESTIONS: Any questions related to this solicitation should be submitted through this software platform using the Messages/Vendor Discussion feature.
