RFB-RC-2026-035 - Ammunition, Live, Less-Lethal, Gases & Grenades

The County of Rockland is issuing this competitive solicitation to establish contracts for the purchase of Live Ammunition, Less-Lethal Ammunition, and Less-Lethal Gases & Grenades. Awards will be issued by manufacturer and product line based on the highest percent discount off the manufacturer’s official MSRP. Political subdivisions across New York State may make purchases from the resulting Rockland County contracts pursuant to Section 103(3) of the New York State General Municipal Law, which permits other political subdivisions to purchase from a county-awarded contract if authorized by their governing body. The current statewide ammunition contract has expired, and there is no active cooperative contract available for New York law enforcement agencies. Because of this need, the County of Rockland is issuing an accelerated solicitation with an anticipated 2-week response window.
