    Description

Boulder County Parks & Open Space (BCPOS) is seeking information from qualified vendors, land managers, researchers, and service providers regarding effective non-herbicide methods for the management and control of Bromus tectorum (cheatgrass) across approximately 800 acres of natural lands. Project areas are characterized by steep, rugged terrain within shrub-steppe Front Range foothill ecosystems, presenting unique operational and ecological challenges. Cheatgrass in these systems contributes to altered fire regimes, reduced native plant diversity, and degraded wildlife habitat. BCPOS is seeking approaches that address these challenges while reducing reliance on herbicide treatments. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to procure services. Responses may be used to inform future pilot projects or formal procurement efforts. If you have any questions about the Boulder County procurement process, please email procurement@bouldercounty.gov.Submittal InstructionsAmericans with Disabilities Act and Equal Opportunity Notice
