    Description

    This solicitation will be issued through BidNet's Maryland Purchasing Group (https://www.bidnetdirect.com/maryland/montgomerycounty). In the spirit of continuous improvement, Montgomery County utilizes this platform to post solicitations and accept electronic responses from vendors. Registration is required and FREE for all Montgomery County solicitations by selecting the "Limited" option upon registration. Through this solicitation, the County seeks to establish a contract with a vendor that must provide comprehensive EAP Services to include, but not limited to, the services outlined in the RFP. Currently, the Comprehensive EAP services are provided by ComPsych Corporation, with historically 10,750 employees eligible to receive the services annually. EAP Services: A. Centralized intake screening. B. Local in-person, virtual, and/or telephonic assessment, referral, counseling and treatment services for at minimum of eight (8) and up to ten (10) sessions per issue, per employee/family member, per year. If the participant's presenting problem is determined not to be resolvable within the contractually agreed upon sessions, the Contractor must refer the participant to an appropriate provider based on the participant’s needs for the provision of alternative services after assessment. Counseling and/or referral services must be compatible with the needs of employees and consistent with the coverage provided by the County’s benefit plan carriers (medical, prescription, dental, wellness, disability, etc.) to develop a provider (Carrier) integration strategy (cross referral scripts). Unlimited management consultation and referral services to assist County supervisors and managers in policy and procedure and coordination. D. Unlimited number of community resource referrals to supplement the counseling services. E. Individual follow-up with participants and satisfactory surveys to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of services provided.
