Perform required subgrade and base preparation for new asphalt. Perform asphalt overlays.• Asphalt surface treatments – crack sealing, chip seals, slurry seals, and cape seals.• Roadway grading – reprofile or reconstruct existing access roads to accommodate large equipment access. Perform required subgrade and base preparation for new asphalt paving.• Project lands grading and excavation – Cut to fill, off haul, and import operations. Excavation and off haul of vegetative and woody debris.• Retaining wall construction – reinforced cantilever, anchored tieback, crib, gabion, mass concrete, concrete modular block, and rockery/stacked boulder.• Culverts - replace various size and style culverts while maintaining vehicular access to SMUD assets. Some culverts may require installation and maintenance of diversion systems within active streambeds during construction.• Erosion repairs – placement of various slope protection systems. Rebuild asphalt, aggregate, and earthen access roads damaged during storm events.• Fencing – construct or modify chain-link security fencing.• Emergency storm response – provide necessary labor and equipment to support emergency and afterhours work.
