    The City of Brady (City) is soliciting Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFP) from general contractor companies for Brady Animal Control Facility & Pickleball Court Improvements. General contractors must have experience with the new construction of a state-regulated animal control facility. The project also includes new construction of pickleball courts at an existing city own location. Interested bidders must have a contractor completion record for new state-regulated animal control facility. This solicitation is based on a competitive sealed proposal method with the following ranked values: Price - 50%, Experience - 25%, and Capacity - 25%. A detailed methodology can be found in the complete RFP package. Sealed proposal response must be received by the City Secretary no later than Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. to be considered. Proposal response shall include a bid security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder's Total Proposal Price in the form of a bid bond or cashier’s check. Main Street, Brady, TX 76825, or USPS to City of Brady, PO Box 351, Brady, TX 76825. All responses must be received prior to the 3:00 p.m. deadline. Sealed responses must be clearly labeled “Brady Animal Control Facility & Pickleball Court Improvements”. Proposals shall be publicly opened and read aloud so as to disclose requirements for submission.
