    Description

The Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to operate and market a region-wide commuter vanpool program ("Program.”) The resulting contract will result in the reduction of the cost of vanpooling by providing monetary incentives, which will encourage drive-alone commuters to rideshare, reduce traffic congestion, and improve air quality. One of VVTA’s key objectives is to provide a cost-effective travel choice for commuters by promoting marketplace competition among vanpool contractors. VVTA reserves the right to award the resulting contract to more than one Vanpool service provider.
