The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide Disaster Debris Removal Services for St. Johns County in response to declared disasters, emergencies, and other events requiring debris clearance, collection, reduction, removal, hauling, and lawful disposal. Services may be required following natural disasters such as hurricanes, tropical storms, tornadoes, severe weather events, floods, and wildfires, as well as man-made emergencies, public safety incidents, or other circumstances determined by the County. The Contractor(s) shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform the required services in accordance with the terms and conditions of the resulting contract. The intent of the County is to award one (1) Primary Contractor, and one (1) Secondary/Backup Contractor as provided herein.
