    The New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (NYS OASAS) announces the release of RFP 25013 - Gambling Addiction Workforce Institute (GAWI). The RFP is anticipated to be posted to https://oasas.ny.gov/procurement by COB Monday, 01/05/2026. NYS OASAS is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish a Gambling Addiction Workforce Institute (GAWI) that will strengthen and expand the capacity of the NYS OASAS Workforce to address gambling-related harms. The GAWI will enhance workforce knowledge and skills, increase provider capacity to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services, and foster regional and statewide partnerships among diverse providers, researchers, policy makers, and community stakeholders. Core activities will include curriculum development and training, regional and statewide clinical supervision, technical assistance, hosting a statewide conference, and collaboration with national, state, regional and community partners. Through these efforts, the GAWI will support NYS OASAS in expanding effective, evidence-based prevention, treatment, harm reduction, and recovery services across New York State.
