    Description

    The California Department of Public Health/California Tobacco Prevention Program (CDPH/CTPP) is seeking one (1) qualified public or private nonprofit agency to operate and maintain a statewide tobacco prevention educational materials clearinghouse. The selected agency will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating access to high-quality educational materials that are culturally relevant and appropriate for diverse populations. Key services will include: 1) development and preparation of multilingual prevention materials; 2) technical assistance in the creation and adaptation of educational resources; and 3) management of materials distribution and fulfillment services with local and state tobacco prevention entities. The goal of this Solicitation is to ensure that community programs have consistent access to accurate and appropriate resources that strengthen tobacco use prevention education and outreach throughout California. CDPH/CTPP will fund one agency that demonstrates exceptional capability in project management, materials development, cultural responsiveness, and the delivery of technical assistance and training. Proposers must demonstrate an understanding of the role community norms have in influencing behavioral change regarding tobacco use by utilizing evidence-based strategies and innovative approaches to diminish tobacco use among target populations. Educational materials, and resources produced under the contract issued pursuant to this Solicitation must be aligned with the Tobacco Education Research Oversight Committee (TEROC) 2025-2026 Master Plan.
