    Description

The Maricopa Community College District, on behalf of Scottsdale Community College, wishes to remodel the existing Student Enrollment Services building, consisting of approximately 35,000 square feet inside the building, along with a full shell renovation of all infrastructure to include mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire sprinkler systems. The building’s original construction occurred in 1955, with some minor tenant improvements to the interior and operational systems over the subsequent years. A full shell analysis of the building systems (MPE) is an important part of this project. The design should be energy efficient as is practical and possible. Further, the renovation should complement and blend with the existing building. The campus is under the jurisdiction of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRP-MIC), that has plan/code review authority for construction permits and on-site code compliance. SRP-MIC will require their own business and tax license requirements, as well as having employment and materials purchase preferences. The District intends to construct this project using a traditional bid delivery system.A pre-proposal meeting will be held for all interested consultants at 9a.m., on January 26, 2026, initiating at the West entry to the Student Services Building. Closest parking available in Lot A or Lot B. This is NOT a mandatory meeting. The sign sheets will be posted on the Purchasing website following the meeting.
