    Description

    Facilities Multiple Award Contract: or FMAC refers to a competitively awarded master agreement with an undefined Scope of Work (SOW). The work is of a repetitive nature, delivered on an on-call or as needed basis. The FMAC supports a broad assortment of facilities construction work to a facility that is a building governed by accepted building codes, or an improved or unimproved structure or land tied to a building. The FMAC does not apply to a highway, road, street, bridge, utility, wharf, dock, airport runway or taxiway, drainage, or related type of project associated with civil engineering construction.

     

    Respondent and Offeror: are used interchangeably, and both refer to the firm, contractor, or person submitting a proposal or offer to the City in response to this RFP.

     

    Multiple Award Contract: The City intends to award a Master Agreement with multiple contractors. The type of work to be supported is for facility-related repairs, alterations, renovations, remediations, construction, or demolition. The work is of a recurring nature, but the delivery times and quantities are indefinite. Under the Master FMAC Agreement, individual projects will be awarded based on best value with price and other factors.

     

    Projects: Each project will be issued through a Task Order under the FMAC that will be signed by the City’s representative and the FMAC Contractor. The task order will be a firm fixed price that is based on contractual unit pricing applied to the quantities and line items delivered.
