Feeder 116/76 Washout Foundation Removal Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) is soliciting bids for Feeder 116/76 Foundation Removal consisting of removal of two (2) existing transmission line foundations located within the Illinois River in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. Work includes cutting/removing each foundation to a minimum of one (1) foot below the existing riverbed surface, removing and disposing of all debris off site, implementing and maintaining SWPPP/turbidity and other environmental controls (including SWPPP required protection matting), providing access/work area matting as needed, and restoring the right of way and riverbed to pre-construction condition. All work shall comply with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Letter of Permission No. SWT 2019 00200 and be coordinated with the GRDA Construction Inspector; the contractor must provide written notice of intent to begin at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to mobilization. A mandatory pre-bid meeting for prospective Bidders will be held on April 23, 2026, at the GRDA Transmission & Engineering Headquarters, 635 Hwy 69A, Pryor, OK 74362 at 10:30 AM Central Time. Due to job site accessibility issues, site visits will be scheduled individually beginning 4/27/26. Job site visits are also mandatory to place a bid. Failure of a prospective Bidder to attend the pre-bid meeting and site visit will disqualify them from being able to submit a bid. All statements made by GRDA at the job site examination meeting are informational only, and the terms of the final Contract (if any) between GRDA and the prevailing Bidder will control.
