    Description

    The City of Chino Hills is inviting you to submit a proposal to prepare an Environmental Justice Element to be included in the 2022 Update of the City of Chino Hills General Plan. The City is seeking assistance from a consultant to prepare environmental justice policies to incorporate into the applicable Elements of the City General Plan. Government Code Section 65302 requires that general plans include either an environmental justice element or related goals, policies, and objectives integrated into other elements, that identify any disadvantaged communities within the Planning Area, and provide policies to reduce the unique or compounded health risks facing those communities. The environmental justice policies should be in full compliance with Senate Bill 1000 (SB 1000), Government Code Section 65302(h); and the state Office of Planning and Research (OPR) General Plan Guidelines Chapter 4: Required Element Environmental Justice (June 2020).
