The Tioga County Property Development Corporation (TCPDC), located at 56 Main Street, Owego, NY 13827, is soliciting proposals from interested and qualified General Contractors in accordance with the project scope that is outlined below. NYS certified Minority/Women Business Enterprises (M/WBE) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB) firms are strongly encouraged to submit a proposal, and/or engage with the project as a subcontractor. I. PROJECT REQUIREMENTS · Contractor must submit a certificate of insurance indicating Commercial General Liability Coverage in the amount of $1,000,000 from an Insurance Carrier having a best’s rating of “A” · Contractor must be legally licensed under applicable laws in the State of New York and the Village of Owego · Contractor must provide their Worker’s Compensation Certificate, if applicable · Contractor must provide their Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Certification · Contractor must abide by all Federal, State, County, Local Laws and Ordinances, including State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) · Contractor must obtain all required permits · Contractor must include materials list · Contractor shall not subcontract out any work under the contract without prior written consent of the Owner. Any subcontractor shall agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions of the contract binding the Contractor, including the provisions related to Liability and Worker’s Compensation Insurance. Business enterprises awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: None Minority / Women Business Enterprise contracting goals (MWBE) MBE Goal: 20.00% WBE Goal: 10.00%
