The City of Placentia provides sewer service to approximately 85% of the City. The estimated population in the sewer service area is 44,400. Existing average wastewater flow generated within the City’s service areas is approximately 4.7 million gallons per day.Service Provider will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidents necessary for the cleaning of approximately 372,246 +/- feet of sewer lines, manholes described herein and 23,754 +/- of enhance areas. The Service Provider shall be responsible for the removal of debris and accumulated encrustations from the pipelines and shall take all the necessary steps to ensure that no spills of any water occur. Pipeline debris is described as, but not limited to, sludge, dirt, sand, rocks, grease, roots, calcium deposits, and other solid or semisolid materials. Contractor shall also provide on-call emergency response services as well. Payment for this work shall be included in the unit bid pricing provided by the Service Provider and no additional compensation will be allowed.Sewer lines are VCP, DIP, and PVC and range in sizes from 6 to 24 inches in diameter. Lengths shown are approximate. Payment will be for actual footage cleaned, based on the unit bid pricing provided.Work crews shall be on site from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Thursday.
