Description / Background: The City of Chino Hills (“City”) is requesting proposals to perform non-native and vegetation management within specified parameters at City owned and operated drainage facilities. The drainage facilities consist of detention basins, vegetated swales, rip-rap lined and earthen channels, culverts, and associated inlets and outlets for the Herbicidal Applications and Select Vegetation Trimming Project. The project and proposal elements include initial and ongoing clearing, trimming, and herbicidal applications to provide acceptable operation of the drainage facilities and positive flow conditions, which are not conducive to standing water and vector concerns. Proposals received should meet the requirements per the RFP and include a maintenance management services plan.
