The selected organization will purchase, install, stock, operate, monitor, and maintain a minimum of four (4) Narcan (Naloxone) vending machines and up to 20 Naloxbox emergency kits throughout Rockland County. Locations must be pre-approved by RCDMH. These machines and emergency kits will serve as harm reduction strategies to combat the opioid crisis by increasing access to life-saving supplies. Provider will also establish a website that provides information, location and a map of locations within Rockland County where Narcan is available for free. The goal is to create an easy to access catalogue of locations where Narcan can be obtained at no cost. This will be a 3-year contract, awarded to one provider. The RCDMH intends to award this contract by April 1, 2026.
