Project Summary
The Putnam County School District (PCSD) invites proposals from qualified providers for Wide Area Network (WAN) and Internet services to ensure reliable, high-performance connectivity across all facilities. The District seeks a cost-effective, scalable, and resilient network that meets current needs and supports future growth. Services will be procured in accordance with FCC E-Rate Category 1 rules and guidelines.
The selected vendor will provide leased lit fiber WAN services connecting all district locations to the central network hub, as well as Internet connectivity that supports mission-critical applications, voice, video, and data. While the District prefers a single provider, proposals involving multiple entities will be considered if a primary vendor assumes full responsibility for service delivery, performance, and compliance. All solutions must meet the technical specifications in this RFP and be fully operational by July 1, 2026.

PCSD seeks a long-term partner with proven experience in K-12 environments, strong service reliability, and a thorough understanding of E-Rate requirements. Vendors are encouraged to propose innovative, efficient solutions that maximize value, ensure consistent performance, and support the District’s commitment to dependable connectivity for students, staff, and administration.
