The City of Arlington is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified design firms to provide professional design services to develop construction documents for the installation of the City’s 150th Anniversary Public Art Sculpture.The concept design for the sculpture has been completed and approved. The selected firm will be responsible for translating the approved concept design into fully engineered permit-ready construction documents suitable for public bidding and construction by a general contractor.The project will require coordination of structural, civil, electrical, lighting, and specialty fabrication elements necessary to support and safely install the sculpture within a public space.The art sculpture and plaza is to be completely installed and dedicated by the City NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 2026.The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this RFQ electronically. If submitting a paper proposal, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late proposals will not be accepted.The City of Arlington exclusively uses Euna Procurement for the notification and dissemination of all solicitations. The receipt of solicitations through any other means may result in your receipt of incomplete specifications and/or addendums which could ultimately render your bid/proposal non-compliant.
