The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to identify a qualified golf course architectural firm capable of assisting the city in developing a clear, objective, and defensible roadmap for future renovations and improvements. At a minimum, the selected firm will be expected to provide the following services:
• A comprehensive written assessment report, including a prioritized list of recommended improvements
• Preliminary cost estimates for each identified priority project
• A recommended phasing strategy and implementation timeline
• A formal presentation of findings and recommendations to City staff and City Council
A pre-submittal and site tour will be conducted on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM at The Wilderness Golf Course, HWY 332, Lake Jackson, TX. The pre-submittal meeting is not mandatory; however, bidders are encouraged to attend. The purpose of the meeting is to answer questions, provide clarification on the RFQ process and procedures, and address questions related to the project scope in order to facilitate sufficient information exchange for calculations and the development of a preliminary proposal layout for major equipment.
The proposal submitted shall contain all information as requested herein, and any additional information necessary to summarize the overall benefit of the proposal to the City. Proposing firms should submit five (5) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy (USB) prior to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Qualification Statement should be sent to:
