The City of Branson (COB) is requesting the submittal of qualifications for intersection realignment and improvements of Commercial Steet and Branson Landing Blvd (BLB). The improvements shall include updated traffic signals, traffic signal cabinets and controls, pedestrian crossings with detection devices, and ADA compliant sidewalks with curb and gutter. This project is going to require collaboration, review and permits from the (MNA) Missouri and Northern Arkansas Railroad.
The ideal firm will have experience with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and have worked closely with municipalities and transportation agencies to integrate ADA requirements into planning, design, and construction ensuring equitable access for all users.
Design Services: The design services shall include but are not limited to surveying, geotechnical investigations, traffic studies and reports, ADA compliance survey, sidewalk improvements, landscape, curb realignments, intersection design, roadway design, contract documents, assisting with the bid documents, utility coordination/permits, and temporary and permanent traffic controls design. These services will include preparation of plans, specifications, estimates (PS&E), and final documents.
SLED stands for State, Local, and Education. These are solicitations issued by state governments, counties, cities, school districts, utilities, and higher education institutions — as opposed to federal agencies.
