    Description

    METRO wishes to enter into a contract with a firm to provide task order based Architectural and Engineering services for one (1) year. With an option to renew for four (4) additional years, in one (1) year increments.

    This Request for Proposal (RFP) is created for the purpose of obtaining proposals for a contract from qualified vendors for the purchase of general task order-based Architecture and Engineering services in accordance with the specifications, terms, and conditions set forth in this RFP.

    The services will be set up on a task-based system. Each project will be setup as a separate order.

    The potential projects to be delivered consist of:

    1. Design and Construction of new structures or additions onto current structures at 416 Kenmore Boulevard and the RKP Transit Center.
    2. Updates to METRO’s Romig Road Transit Center.
    3. Design and Construction of Super Stops.
    4. Design and Construction of a Transit Oriented Development (TOD) project.
    5. Design and Construction of ADA-accessible concrete pads for transit amenities including bus shelters.
    6. Office space remodeling.
    7. Sustainability Upgrades for existing facilities.
    8. HVAC and various mechanical system upgrades.
    9. Planning and Execution of Bus Rapid Transit Related Tasks

    Other miscellaneous design work as needed
