    PURPOSE AND BACKGROUNDThe County of Imperial Department of Public Works is requesting quotations for the purchase of energy-efficient solar lighting fixtures with post. The objective of this purchase is to improve safety, visibility, and usability of the Wiest Lake Park’s playground located at 5351 Dietrich Road, Brawley, CA 92227 during evening hours using sustainable and efficient lighting.These specifications shall be construed as the minimum acceptable standards. Should the manufacturer’s current published data or specifications exceed these standards, the manufacturer’s standards shall be considered minimum and shall be furnished. All integral parts not specifically mentioned in the scope of these specifications that are necessary to provide complete working equipment shall be furnished. Additionally, the item offered for bid shall include all standard manufacturer’s equipment. Any items furnished must be new current production models.This solicitation is for the purchase and delivery of solar-powered lighting fixtures only. No installation, construction, or electrical work is included. A California Contractors State License is not required for this procurement.
