PARKS & RECREATION MASTER PLAN
The City of Lake Jackson is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced consulting firms to provide professional services for the development of a Parks and Recreation Master Plan. This plan will serve as a comprehensive update to the City’s 2016 Parks and Open Space Master Plan and will guide the future of parks, recreation facilities, open space, programming, and amenities throughout the community.
The updated Master Plan will help identify and justify current and emerging trends in Parks and Recreation services to ensure an appropriate and sustainable balance of facilities, programs, and amenities—both now and in the future. The final document will be a heavily utilized resource for evaluating existing resources, identifying gaps and opportunities, and establishing clear goals, policies, guidelines, and implementable strategies to support long-range planning, capital investments, and operational decision-making.
The proposal response submitted shall contain all information as requested herein, and any additional information necessary to summarize the overall benefit of the proposal to the City. Proposing firms should submit five (5) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy (USB) prior to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
