The City of Columbus (City), Department of Finance and Management (DofM) wishes to procure a Service Contract to replace parking lot and driveway pavement of all City Buildings. DoFM maintains over 100 buildings with all types of concrete and asphalt parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, curbs, etc. The primary objective of the Pavement Replacement Program is to ensure the longevity, structural integrity, and optimal performance of the pavement systems. This program is intended to proactively identify and address potential issues, prevent damage, and extend the lifespan of the pavement. The service contractor shall coordinate with the City for more extensive repairs as needed.The following list indicates the various functions to be included in the Pavement Replacement Program. The inspection shall be performed annually at all of the buildings listed in the attachment with this RFP. Within your proposal, please address how your solution would meet each requirement.• Cleaning storm catch basins, drain lines, curb gutters, and culverts. • Cleaning pavement surfaces of debris so the area will drain freely. • Applying penetrating sealant on concrete pavement. • Applying seal coating on asphalt pavement. • Restriping parking lot pavement. • Caulking or grouting between pavement and dissimilar materials. • Caulking joints between concrete panels. • Repairing and patching concrete and asphalt pavement, driveways, sidewalks, curbs, etc. • Proper disposal of all debris and refuse that has been collected throughout preventive maintenance servicing. • Utilizing drones for arial videos of pavement areas. • Reporting general observations, deficiencies, and priorities of each site. • Photo logs to help visually verify the services performed. The work includes updating the City’s AssetPlanner inventory database and identifying preventative maintenance work items. The expectation is the Contractor will contract with Ameresco to assist with using their AuditPlanner tool to assess the parking lots and get that data into the City's AssetPlanner database.
