The contract will also include the collection of recyclables from sidewalk recycling containers as part of the City’s Pedestrian Recycling Program and glass from private businesses and organizations participating in the Recycle-on-High Program. Future collection programs may be added to the contract by the mutual agreement of the City and the contracted service provider. Bidders must bid on all services to be deemed responsive.1.1.1. Contract Period: The contract period is April 01, 2027, through and including March 31, 2032. There are five one-year renewal options that can be implemented by the written mutual agreement of both parties, extending the contract through March 31, 2037.All questions concerning the bid are to be sent to capitalprojects@columbus.gov. The bidder is required to submit a proposal bond in the form provided in the Invitation to Bid documents. The amount of the guaranty shall be expressed in dollars and cents or as a percentage of the bid amount and shall not be less than ten (10) percent of the bid.
