    REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR RIVERFORD ROUNDABOUT WATER FACILITIES RELOCATION PROJECT (JN 226004) PROPOSAL DUE Date: July 30, 2026 Time: 3:00 pm ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION ONLY Padre Dam Municipal Water District ATTN: Lewis Clapp, PE Director of Engineering E-mail to: Padre Dam’s Administration AdminSupportGroup@padre.org Padre Dam Municipal Water District (Padre Dam or District) is requesting proposals from qualified engineering firms to prepare plans for the relocation of several water facilities that will be impacted by the County of San Diego’s Riverford Roundabout project. The County of San Diego (County) is in the final design phase of its project to reconfigure the intersections and ramps at the SR67 and Riverford Road intersections. The District currently owns and maintains 8”, 12”, and 36” water transmission mains and a turnout facility that will be impacted by the project. Relocation of these District facilities will be necessary to accommodate the changes to the intersections and crossing. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, identifying new alignment options and locations for the facilities, as well as completing the final design in conformance with San Diego Water Agency Standards (WAS), American Water Works Association (AWWA) standards and other District operational standards.
