    Description

    THIS IS A FORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Fax responses and non-electronic responses will NOT be accepted. All responses must be submitted on-line through the SWIFT Supplier Portal before the Event Due Date and Time. Late responses will not be accepted. PURPOSE. The purpose of the Request for Proposal (RFP/Solicitation/Event) is to accept offers and contract with a vendor to provide REGULAR and TREATED crushed rock salt (sodium chloride) – for road use during the 2026-2027 Season. The Solicitation is for the Cooperative Purchasing Venture (CPV) Members and other State agencies. There are two separate Excel Price Schedules for CPV members, one for regular salt and one for treated salt. The rock salt requirements for CPV member locations are listed separately to allow responders to offer pricing by individual location and road salt type QUESTIONS.
