    Submission: Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe (SRMT) Grants & Contracts Office, Ionkwakiohkwaróron Administration Building, 71 Margaret Terrance Memorial Way, Akwesasne, NY 13655 until 3:30 p.m. (Local Time), Thursday, July 30, 2026. No public opening of proposal will be conducted. Description: SRMT is requesting proposals from Qualified Contractors to provide all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment and services necessary for the construction of a new Two-Way Center Turn Lane on approximately 1,080-LF of Route 37 in the vicinity of the Akwesasne Housing Authority (AHA)/Sunrise Acres, Akwesasne, New York, all more particularly identified in the Proposal Documents. To obtain access to SRMT's "Procore" construction project management site for viewing and downloading copies of the complete advertisement, proposal documents, plans and technical specifications, along with any Addendum issued for this project, contact the Grants & Contracts Office by emailing grants.contracts@srmt-nsn.gov or by calling the Grants & Contracts office at 518-358-2272. A PRE-PROPOSAL/BID MEETING will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 beginning at 10:00 a.m. (local time) and to be held at the SRMT's Planning and Infrastructure's Boardroom, 2817 State Route 95, Akwesasne, NY. A site visit will be held directly afterwards, if necessary. Proposal/Bid and Contract Security along with Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates are all mandatory requirements of this call. The following preferences apply to this solicitation: Native Preference, Women Business Enterprises & Veteran with Disabilities Business Enterprises and Minority Business Enterprises and Veterans Business Enterprises. In accordance with the SRMT's Native American Preference Policy, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe will give preference in the award of a Contract to approved Native American Owned Businesses/Companies, as certified by the SRMT's Compliance Department. ANY PROPOSER CLAIMING NATIVE AMERICAN PREFERENCE MUST GIVE EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT THIS CLAIM WITH THEIR PROPOSAL. The Successful Contractor, as well as their sub-contractors, will be required to complete a Native American Preference Plan and Agreement. THE SAINT REGIS MOHAWK TRIBE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT ANY PROPOSAL, WHETHER IT IS THE LOWEST OR NOT, OR MAY REJECT ANY AND ALL PROPOSALS.
